Step-by-step guide
Understand why this matters
Without proper domain authentication, your emails are far more likely to land in spam. SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records tell email providers your emails are legitimate.
Go to Settings → Email Services
In your GHL sub-account, navigate to Settings → Email Services → Sending Domains. Click + Add Sending Domain.
Enter your domain
Type in the domain you want to send from (e.g. yourbusiness.com or mail.yourbusiness.com for a subdomain).
Add the DNS records
GHL will display SPF, DKIM, and sometimes DMARC records. Log in to your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Cloudflare, etc.) and add each record exactly as shown.
Verify the records
Click Verify in GHL after adding the records. DNS propagation takes 15 minutes to 24 hours. All records should show green checkmarks.
Set your From address
Go to Settings → Email Services and set your default From Name and From Email address using your verified domain.
Warm up your domain
Don't send thousands of emails immediately. Start with small batches (50-100/day) and gradually increase volume over 2-4 weeks to build sender reputation.
