Step-by-step guide
Go to Opportunities → Pipelines
Click Opportunities in the left sidebar, then click Pipelines at the top. You'll see any existing pipelines and a button to create new ones.
Create a new pipeline
Click + Add Pipeline. Give it a name that reflects its purpose (e.g. 'Sales Pipeline', 'Onboarding Pipeline', 'Partnerships').
Add stages
Click + Add Stage and name each stage of your process. Use action-oriented names like 'Initial Contact', 'Demo Booked', 'Proposal Sent', 'Closed Won', 'Closed Lost'.
Set up stage automations
For each stage, you can create automation workflows that fire when a deal enters that stage. Add tasks, send emails, or notify team members automatically.
Customize opportunity fields
Go to Settings → Custom Fields → Opportunities to add custom fields relevant to your deals (e.g. deal size, source, competitor).
Use the Kanban view
In the Opportunities board view, drag and drop deal cards between stages as they progress. See the total value at each stage to forecast revenue.
